Playing games freezes, but sound is ok

Hello,
My computer freezes sometimes after playing Starcraft 2, at seemingly random times, and I can't even alt tab out. However, the sound and music goes on playing -- strange, how do I figure out what is wrong and fix it?

Might help to display your full specs. Possibly your GPU is locking up the system, have you another you could try, or onboard GPU? Possibly a Temperature problem, run Speccy

check your event logs. controlpannel/admintools/event viewer/application or system tabs...
look for the error that appears after you play the game, lock up and reboot...
sounds like a driver crash...
