That DVD player does not support .mp4 files. You'll have to convert it to a compatible format. The only supported video formats, according to the spec sheet they provide on their site, are: MPEG-2/4, WMV, JPEG.

Dear nena
This answer is in reply to portable DVD
With USB sold in Tesco and sainsburys
It should address other DVD usb Players
The problem is DVD format I have read your latest response saying MPEG 2
I won't go in to containers but give you a simple answer most converted won't enatiallly convert to MPEG and won't work
neither will Dix but buy AVC converter it
Will give you an MPEG format that. works
without adjusting the values the drawbacks aren't many the transcoded file is titled untitled and saved in your video files
The converter seems only to convert one file at a time untitled in video files will need renamed to avoid over writing it
The other advantage is a portable hitachi MP3 player that plays Movies needs this converter to create a playable file
The format may not be shown in the default application to the right is. An add box and select from a drop box
Thanks AVC
Regards
Antonia
