Playing The Xbox One While Streaming

I'm getting an Xbox One for Christmas. If I have the Xbox hooked up to a TV, can I still connect it to my laptop, which is across the house? If so, can my brother play the Xbox on TV while I play it on my laptop? Two games at once?!


PS: This will all happen after Windows 10 comes out.

Well im not too informed on those new windows 10 xbone features but i can tell you for sure the xbox one's hardware is most certainly not capable of running two games at the same time, so no it cannot.

Xbox streaming to your laptop just allows you to see and control what's happening on your xbox from your laptop. Xbox is still doing all the processing work, it's also just sending a video stream of what's happening to you elsewhere. It's basically the exact same thing as watching a Twitch Stream.
