They have playing with A380 up and down the runway at Toulouse aparantly.

There are some pics on Airliners.net of it on the runway under its own
steam, and on Airbus' own site, they have an announcement about its
"imminent" first flight...

Mum and dad are going down there next week with the camera hopefully...

What an opportunity. Now's the time to procure additional memory stick
and especially a new battery pak for the digital camera. Earlier this
year .. got a new battery for Sony Mavica which cost 60$US .. but now
the camera reports it can operate for 253 mins. :)
(not including flash.. that is)

It can easily take 1280x960 pix frames.. of course PS or PSP is a must
for post processing. Bring along a tripod for good steady telephotos!!

Yesterday's Flight International magazine says the first flight should be
next week, if this weeks hi-speed runs and stops are a success.

Can't wait to see the video - I would be there myself to see it, if only
they could set a date rather than a "maybe" - can't really afford that much
time out there "just in case"..!
