Is there such a thing as a cable that connects my playstation2 to my tv via
S-Video?

If so could someone please point me to a URL with a picture of it?

Thanks

you're kidding right?, no seriously you are.. oh my, you're not..
well, get yourself down to WalMart, Best Buy, CompUSA, Circuit City,
GameStop, EB Game and so on and on.. and just see how many 's-vhs'
cables are available for the PS2.. you know a little research on your
behalf would've solved this a long time ago.

Yeah OK smartass, first of all, none of those shops exist in the UK, which
is where I live. Second of all, I've been to at least three big highstreet
electronics/games shops already, plus searched on some well known websites
(amazon, play, maplin) for said cable. Do you really think I'd post here
without doing those things first?

So take your patronising comments and shove them.

Thanks.

Only problem is that it's a US site and I'm in the UK.

Well, you only asked for a picture of one. For UK sellers, check:

www.specialtech.co.uk or computing.kelkoo.co.uk

If youa re in the UK shouldn't you just purchase a SCART?

Much better image quality.

I agree with him. I believe you didn't do your homework before posting.

Just search "PS2 S-Video Cable" in Google images and you get a billions of
images you required.

http://images.google.com/images?q=ps2%20s-video%20cable&hl=en&lr=&rls=GGLD,GGLD:2004-50,GGLD:en&sa=N&tab=wi

and on the 2nd hit, it was a UK site
http://www.specialtech.co.uk/spshop/customer/product.php?productid=840&cat=149

It doesn't take me more than a minute and I found what you were looking for.
further more, many sites delivers to UK I am sure.

Google is your best friend. :p

some.

Sadly I think component video is a US standard only or at least used to be.

It's NTSC specific. Over in Europe, they have SCART, which I believe is a
little better than component video, but is PAL only.

If Velocity Girl was a dude, I would have to say that he had a pretty articulate
"appendage". ;-)
