PlayStation4 can't read hard drive

This is SlimIceberg1 I'm having a situation with my 2 terabyte firecuda hard drive that I placed in my PlayStation 4 been running for 6 months as of today 5 months now it's a issue with it not reading and I can't get into my PlayStation 4 safe mode how can I check or what kind of device do I need to put on 2 terabyte firecuda hard drive so I can read it to see if it's corrupted or not and if I need to wipe it clean to do a reinitialize and put it back into my system or is it that the hard drive is something wrong with it itself because it's not my system when I put the old hard drive in I can get to the safe mode in the PlayStation 4 and everything so the issue is the two terabyte firecuda help me please just happened today I'm upset GTA V new update tomorrow and my system is down right now PS it's not reading the storage on the hard drive I'm getting an error CE-34335-8

Sorry to hear you're running into trouble! The software to scan the drive to check it for errors is SeaTools.
