Plc and wifi extender

Well hello i live in a very big house which us quite old and there are no ethernet cables at all...🙁 i need wifi at the 1st floor but the modem-router is under the ground floor ... so i want to buy a triple plc to use it in 1st floor , ground floor and basement.. but the plc is not going to be with wifi on it to save money ... so if i use some repeaters i got can i connect them via ethernet with the plc reciever (out of wifi range ) and transmit my wifi signal through the plc ? If yes should exist certain port to work ??? Help me i am desperate .. thenks for the help...

Can you define what you consider "plc"? In factory automation world, it means "Programmable Logic Controller", but I doubt this is what you mean.

If it means "Power-Line" adapter - you can try this, but it depends a lot of power lines in your house. So, get them from a place where you can return them if they don't work for you. Once you prove they work (eg connecting one to the router, the other two directly to PCs), you can look around for "Access Point" - a device to provide you with WiFi.

Thanks man alot ... by plc i ment power line connector ... you guessed correctly... but i will give it a try .. something else too ... under some repeaters there is an ethernet port ... could i use it as access point ???
