Hi!
In the first place i would like to apologize for my bad English
I want to upgrade my PC a little bit at the beginning of the next month, so I started to search on forums, benchmarks, reviews and so on, on which CPU (and motherboard
) is good for gaming. And the more I searched the bigger my confusion was. Some people recommend the FX 8350/8320, others 4690k/4790k. Additionally some benchmarks show that i5/i7 are a lot better than the FX, but then I stumble on reviews like this: techspot.com/review/837-intel-core-i7-4790k-devils-canyon/page6.html where the FX is almost the same as i5/i7, and it looks like it's not worth to pay more to get them. I will be playing at 1920x1080 resolution, possibly with screen recording - I will most likely not overclock anything. And about the cost - I don't want to spend too much just for the sake of it, but if the difference in performance is high enough, I can justify the cost to get it.
My current PC specification is as follows:
Cpu: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T
RAM :16GB 4x4 DDR3 Kingston Hyperx PC1600 CL9
GPU: 2x Radeon R9 280X 3GB
Motheboard: Asus Crosshair IV Formula
PSU: 1200W Chieftec
System SSD, and 3x WD black 500GB HDD
I would probably want to keep my RAM and GPU's
So, could anyone help me decide on what CPU to get ?
Thank You in advance!
