I have no clue how to do this and all of the results google yields are old it seems.

I need to portforward specifically for xbox games pass on Windows.

Apparently I need the 3074 ports? And I'm hitting dead ends.

I'm at the screen to add a new virtual server (or port I assume) and its asking:

Service Type:

External Port:

Internal IP:

Internal Port:

Protocol:

Microsoft states the following: "Xbox Live requires the following ports to be open on your router"
Port 88 (UDP)
Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
Port 80 (TCP)
Port 500 (UDP)
Port 3544 (UDP)
Port 4500 (UDP)

I have the Archer A9 (tp-link router)

You'll need to give your Xbox a permanant DHCP reservation, so it's always that same IP address.

Service type, I think, is just a generic name you want to call this port forward. You can call it xbox live or something.

Internal Port is 3074

External Port is 3074

Internal IP is the IP address of your xbox that you reserved.

Protocol is All or both.

Hm sorry so I don't actually have an xbox, im using windows 10 to play xbox games on the games pass service, does that make sense? I have no idea what DHCP reservation means either.

I know this is old but I used to have issues with my xbox 360 back in the day always having strict NAT type due to blocked ports, and I did port forwarding at first but then my roommate's xbox wouldn't be able to communicate on those ports because they were being forwarded to mine already.

Port forwarding, or port triggering, is fine for just your one device though. But the thing that worked for me (and is much simpler to set up) is to just enable UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) on your router, with a Static IP address. I used this configuration ever since, for xbox one as well and never any issues.
You could alternatively put it in the DMZ as SamirD said if you have to but I would try UPnP first because it'll be much safer.
