I have a Dell Optiplex 9010 mini tower that originally came with an older Ivy Bridge i7-3770. The board needs to be replaced and I want it to use a slightly newer Haswell i7-4770 in it. Therefore I need a 1150 board.
I find used boards listed as being an Optiplex 3010, 7010, 9010 mini tower motherboard. How can I tell if one of those boards will recognize the Haswell?

Different sockets. Not going to work.

1156? I assumed it referred to 1155/1150 since my 9010 was an 1155. No? It appears that the 1150 boards were in the Optiplex 9020 MT. That's why I was wondering if it would fit the nearly identical 9010 MT.
