This is what I've come up with so far. I've never built a NAS, so I have a few questions. The NAS will be used for streaming media, media storage in general, camera pictures, documents, computer back ups. Some torrenting, for sure.

Is FreeNAS ideal for my situation?
Do I need to buy all four drives now, or can I just buy three and expand later without messing up my volume?
What if one drive fails?
What if the thumb drive fails that they tell you to install on?
What type of PSU would you guys recommend?
Do I need a CPU Cooler?
