Please Explain Compression and Decompression of Files ...

I am building a new PC but I will also be doing many File Decompression Works such as decompression of 50mb file to 14/15GB.
So, What do I need the most power from ? I want it to be done in least time. A fast Processor ? or a Hard Drive ? or even RAM ?

Depends on the program. Some aren't multi threaded well and won't use more then one core. I think I switched to 7zip because it should good scaling with cores. It won't be able to go faster then the drive is being wrote to so I'd go SSD for sure. Team won't play to much but you want to have enough so 8-16GB depending on needs.
