Please help AOM Text disappears

I recently purchased the AOM game and I have a new computer purchased at xmas
time and had the graphics card updated to a NVIDIA GeForce FX5500. When I
load the game and go to play it the text shows up for a second and then
disappears. I know my graphics card can handle this game and I have replaced
the fonts Georgia with the ones from the AOM disk. I still cannot see the
text on this game no matter what I do. I am getting very frustrated can
anyone help me please.

For Missing Text/Chat: Reinstall XML from the game CD directly
by running msxmlenu.msi (probably located in the Redist directory). 🙂
