PLEASE HELP ASAP- Will the amd a8 5600k APU use GDDR5 memory?

PLEASE ANSWER ASAP. I got the AMD A8 5600K APU. I just ordered a HD 6670 graphics card with GDDR5 memeory and 1000mhz effective memory clock. I read somewhere that the A8 5600K will only use ddr3 memory. I looked at the DDR3 cards and saw that they have 1600mhz effective memory clock. Did I just waste money buying the HD 6670 graphic card with GDDR5 and 1000mhz memory? Which is better and will my APU use GDDR5? PLEASE HELP Im having so much buyers remorse right now!!!!!!!!

the reference to DDR3 memory with the APU is talking about the System Memory, so ram that is DDR3 compliant, not GDDR3.

either way, the CPU/APU and what DDR it uses does not reflect what GDDR version it can use on the board itself. so that video card and APU match are good for each other.

I saw somewhere that because the APU uses system memory, it will only use up to you RAM speed memory, making that DDR3 is the best option. F*** ME... Anyways, will 1000mhz effective memory clock be much slower than 1600mhz?

if you compare GDDR3 to GDDR5, effective speed is non-comparable since GDDR5 is actually a better architecture and is optimized better, its like comparing AMD to Intel in frequency on their CPU's, you could put side by side at 4.0ghz lets say a i7 to a FX8350 and the i7 will destroy the AMD.

The apu's gpu has 0 dedicated memory and uses system ram as vram. Since your system ram is ddr3, then it uses ddr3. By overclocking your system ram, it overclocks the apu's gpu vram. The 6670 has its own vram which happens to be gddr5. Gpus will not use each other's vram.

Gddr5 is actually based off of ddr3 so it is not like intel vs amd. But there are differences and, as you said, it is faster.
