Please help Blue Screen keeps occuring

A computer at work keeps getting blue screen and it need to fix as soon as possible.

Not sure if this is posted in the correct place , but the computer is using Windows 7 OS and the last blue screen has the following details:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.768.3
Locale ID: 1033

Additional information about the problem:

No tech support at work ?

Usual causes: Defective hardware (particularly memory - but not just RAM), Faulty system service, Antivirus, Device driver, NTFS corruption, BIOS

I would down load memtestx86 and run it for at least 5 passes.

Run a system file check (sfc /scannow)

What AV are you running?

Do i have to burn the iso memtestx86 to a cd then run it?

The computer uses F-PROT antivirus.

Sorry I do not understand what you mean as I am not familiar with those technical terms. How do I check if the computer is running as an Admin?

Oh dear....If you do not understand those terms, Please get a knowledgeble friend to help you out, as I don't want you to misinterpret my instructions and screw up your system.

Oh I didn't realise that it is the same as Run>cmd. There is something very wrong with the computer as it won't even complete a scan from cmd and also chkdsk.

I've been tasked to sort out the pc as i'm the most technical...

Try safe mode (f8) during startup and select Last known good configuration.

If no luck there, try Win7 restore options:

Thank you for the help so far, but unfortunately we do not have the original Windows 7 cd to use to restore/ repair.

I'm thinking of may be wiping the computer and then re-installing everything again as it is only used for a mount-cutter machine and light Internet use. Would i have to purchase a new Windows 7 OS cd? That's if the safe mode doesn't work..
