Please help! Blue yeti mic issue with 8.1

Im about to buy a blue yeti mic, a pro stand and a whole load of studio equipment, and it is going to be cost me a fairly large amount... I've heard about some issues with the blue yeti and windows 8/8.1 so I'd love to know if there's a fix or a work around before I purchase... This is fairly urgent as I'm supposed to record something soon and it's not very easy without a mic! Lol thanks for all your replies in advance
