Please help! Can't download windows 7 ISO

Alright I have a big problem, I just got my ssd and I need to now install windows on it. I have lost my reinstall disk and I was planing on downloading a ISO file from the Microsoft site and have the computer boot from a USB. But to my surprise Microsoft gives me an error saying "the product key you entered appears to be for software the was pre-installed on a device." Is there any way of fixing this or could someone help me out. I don't know what else to do.

Contact who you bought the PC from.
Or, assuming it still exists, generate the Factory Reset DVD from whatever functionality exists.
