Last night I was wondering why my temps were so high. I thought I had to reapply thermal paste, clean dust etc, you know, the usual check ups.

I couldn't see so I waited til morning to inspect it thoroughly. As soon as i take a peak I can see the the fan literally broke (the wings not the whole fan) and fell (it was a top fan 140mm) onto the gpu and only damaged the silver northbride I believe it's called. I am very lucky that this thing didn't damage anything or everything else should i say.

How should I go about this? Complain? Replace the fan? I will provide detail pics.

See how it moved the northbridge teeth like pins

You're looking at the top part of the case where the fan used to go, it fell from there (only the wings of the fan not the whole fan)

Then I'd bitch like crazy too, find any and all sideeffects since the incident that can be attributed to the damage it caused and harrass them for compensation. considering it should have a standard set of electrical warranties applied to the fans.
