please help computer wont detect video card

Hi i used to have asus motherboard with intel core 2 quad Q 9600
4GB DDR 2 RAM
500W power supply

and it ran my Geforce GTX 460 fine. no problems

Now i have

Dell optiplex 990

intel core i5-2500@ 3.30ghz
bios version Dell inc. A19
6GB DDR3 ram
700 W power supplky

and it wont detect my video card at all???!!!

please help me.

May be the Dell motherboard won't work with the card. Did you check for an updated BIOS? All power leads in the video card?
