Please help.Computer wont turn on

Theres no fan sound or anything. Ive tried replugging cables and even tried a new psu cable. Ive noticed the psu switch is turned off, but Im pretty sure it has always been like this. Ive never touched it. Im afraid itll blow up if i turn it on. What should I do?

If the PSU switch is off, it will not power the PC...Has it always been off? You need to turn on the PSU in order for it to actually provide power to the PC...

I know how idiotic this question sounds. But im sure it has always been off. This is the switch beside the socket near the psu fan right? It says INPUT AC 220v. You sure there wouldnt be any problem if I switch it on'?

If the switch is not turned on...The power to the PC wont get there...It actually switches the PSU on....You need it on for the PC to work...And don't worry about being idiotic, better to be safe...

Yep that switch needs to be in the 1 position, not the 0....For everything to work..
