Manufacturer: Seagate
Connection interface: SATA2 (SATA revision 2.0 - 3 Gbit/s - 300 MB/s)
Format: 3.5" (3.5 inches)
Capacity: 500GB minimum, 2TB maximum
I have been givin these specs but have no idea which one to buy. I google these specs and can not seem to find an exact match?
I was told by the seller of my home security dvr, that this is the only one that will work, but they will not send me the order/item/model number.
Please help!
Thanks,

Solution
Step 1. Search 'Seagate hard drive' on Amazon.
Step 2. Click on internal hard drive, 1 TB for example http://www.amazon.com/Seagate-Barracuda-3-5-Inch-Internal-ST1000DM003/dp/B005T3GRNW/
Step 3. See that it is called '3.5 inch'
Step 4. See that it is SATA 6 Gb/s, but it is backwards compatible with SATA II (3 Gb/s)

A little bit of research and initiative could have saved you from posting this question.

Sorry about that, but i had the initiative, done the research, just lacked the knowledge!
Oh that's why i came on here to ask! duh.....
So are you guaranteeing me that the hdd in the link you provided will work in my ELEC® 8CH Channel 960H D1 HDMI 1080P CCTV H.264 Realtime Security DVR system?
Just a yes or no? No smart remarks please........
Thanks for your time.

There is no reason for any particular drive to work or not work, although if you've been told this then fair enough.

The drive I sent a link to fits all of the specifications you provided. You can click the 2 TB option if you want a larger drive.

Gotcha!
Thanks sooooooo much!
