please help ! How do i fix files on my external hard drive After formating then restoring?

hello fellas,

well first off i plugged my ext segate hdd 1TB to my xbox 360 so i can save my games but my xbox 360 formatted it so my all important files got deleted ofcourse. so i went on my laptop to recover my data by using easeUS data recovery . its a pretty good program i recovered everything today but the problem is nothing is opening or working properly no pictures no software no nothing opening its like all my data are corrupted.

SO i need a methode to fix my data. its very important they are files and photo's from years of work!

It looks to me that your data recovery software didn't properly recognize the starting sector of original partition and is likely using the starting sector of the partition created by the xbox. Forget about "fixing" the files, they don't contain the right data for the file because the data is shifted.

Try using R-Studio demo to scan the drive and see if it can preview the image files. If that works you'll just have to buy the program to finish the recovery.
