Please, help. How do i fix this ?

I used the hdmi cable to connect my computer to my video card and nothing is appearing on the screen. Only the wallpaper can be seen on the screen. How do I fix this? Sorry for my bad english. I'm using a Samsung Monitor btw.

If you can see the wallpaper there is nothing wrong with your HDMI cable or monitor, or any of your PC hardware.

It's a Windows problem so try restarting your PC.

Go to the Task Manger>>New Task>>(Type)Explorer..this might help

If you see the wall paper it seems that that monitor are being recognized as a second monitor and another one are the first one, you have anything more conected?
