Any help will be welcomed.
I am sure something is not setup right, as I am getting an average of 80 FPS in COD Warzone with a system that supposes to be decent...

Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER
Processor AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor 3.59 GHz
RAM Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200 C16 2x16GB running at 3200MHz
Motherboard: B450 Aorus Elite
Operating system Windows 10 64-bit
The game is running from an SSD

I play on a 2K monitor, but I don't see a difference in FPS even when I lower the resolution, making me think I am CPU bound.

Benchmark:

All looks good. Are other games ok?
I just tried to load Battlefield 1, and I get 40FPS on medium settings... (I'm not familiar with the game, it was the 2nd time I ran it)

Is the gpu and all motherboard drivers up to date?
The GPU drivers are the latest (August 10th)
I am Not sure what are motherboard drivers but the bios firmware is from January which I think is the latest.
and I just checked Windows update and it is update

Battlefield 1 isn’t running right either.

There will be several drivers for the motherboard on the support page for the motherboard.

When gaming what speed (GHz) is the cpu running at

I have just had a thought, do you have Ray tracing on? If yes then turn it off.
Ray tracing is off.
I do play on 1440p. There is not one place where you can set high/medium/low settings in this game, each graphic property has its own setting. I use the settings Nvidia experience recommended.

But even when i set everything to low and the game looks like a mobile game the maximum I gain is another 5-20fps.
