please help i have cooling fan issues

hello huys need help..i have enermax etd t60 and sabertooth zb7, intel i7 4790, when i was installing cooler i had a problem...my morerboard is socket 1150 and i was not able to mount cooler properly i eman i did it at the end but all 4 screws did not went properly.....so when i turned on computer it says that i have cpu fan error...i surfed internet and found similar problem with other guys and solution was to reduce rmp from 600 to 300 i did it but it still keeps me sayng this..so could it be that i did not mojnt cooler properly? i mean they look pretty good installed its mounted firm and solid please help

That cooler dosent support the 1150 Chipset you need a new CPU cooler that actually supports that chipset that's why you are getting the error

i see what u mean......i still managed to mount it on the socket. how fan error could be related to socket size?

i searched internet and particullarly coolers socket 1150 and 1155 are compatible to each other..so that could not be a problem...any suggestions?

Maybe there is a problem with where you have plugged the fan into the mobo, make sure its in the CPU fan socket, you may need to look at the motherboard guide, if its in a case fan socket it could cause an issue.
