Solution
If you don’t mind buying refurbished, EVGA B stock has a mid week madness sale right now (every wednesday) and they have an RTX 2060 XC Ultra for $290. I think it’s a damn good deal considering it’s their XC Ultra model which has a very good/beefy cooler on it. It still has a one year warranty as well.
What power supply do you have?

As long as you have the power, aux plugs, and physical space, you can put just about anything in there. Just note that your GPU's performance will be limited (bottlenecked) by your slower/older CPU. Even though that board is only PCIe v2, the x16 slot will still be able to supply all the bandwidth you need.

That's an okay PSU but I would definitely upgrade it when you build out your new system.

Look around for sales for something in the RTX 2060-2070 lines (or RX 5700 line if you don't care about ray tracing). Make sure that you have the proper aux power and case room for any card you are considering.
