Question Please help id cable

Rooting through my spare cable drawer and came across a USB to something cable and cannot for the life of me figure out what it is. I'm starting to lean towards it being a proprietary phone cable from back in the day when every cell had its own unique shape, but wanted to check here before I just toss it. It looks similar to a regular displayport with it being a rectangle that has one slanted corner, but is much smaller and is not mini displayport. the following is a picture of the cable in question:

i would almost agree, except on yours the pins clearly stick out while on my cable they are so recessed you cannot see the pins. i do think that similarity does point to an old phone cable though, likely just a slightly different one.

Some cameras have a similar charging connection. Basically they are all USB just with custom ends.
