If it were that easy to defeat, people wouldnt pay. And even if you did pay, whos to say they would give you a real encryption code? There is nothing you can do short of formatting or taking a chance and paying. If all you were doing is browsing for a picture, maybe you should browse safer sites.

"how to decrypt"

- Pay them, hope they give you a key, and don't just take your money and run. Of course, they're already subhuman criminals, so let that inform your perspective on how honourable they can be trusted to be.

- Use your properly maintained system backups to restore all your files at a minimal cost. You do have those, right? If not, your boss should be told to put his head in a certain place. This is basic IT he should have in place. If this is not your responsibility, and your boss is attacking you, make sure you bring this up. It's his fault as much as it is yours, because Ransomware can come from just about anywhere with how ad networks are spreading malware now.

Only the NSA is (maybe) able to decrypt such files - understand the encryption means these people use is designed with a mathematical principle that it'd take longer than the time the universe has existed to crack with modern computational power.

Sorry mate, but realistically, you probably are SoL. Your only option is to pay or use backups - you can't decrypt those. I am not just being pessimistic. You literally can't. It's impossible without the key, which the people who infected you currently are the only ones with knowledge of.
