Hi i have recently purchased a JideTech HDMI 2-port KVM switch in the hopes of connecting my macbook and my PC to the same monitor, while being able to switch between them with a single click. Unfortunately this KVM switch on booting won't recognize my GTX 1070. It will however recognize the onboard graphics.

I have tried forcing the PCI-E to the videocard on the bios but that didn't seem to work.
Important fact: If I connect the graphics card directly to the monitor without the switch it works fine. But for some reason going through the switch does not work.

Specs:
1070 GTX
Intel 6700k
asus Z170 Pro gaming aura
27 inch acer monitor
2 corsair 8gb ram

Any help would be appreciated

I bought a JideTech KVM 2 HDMI port switch to connect both my macbook and PC to a single monitor. Unfortunately, when booting the Monitor will not detect the PC graphics card. It will however work properly when the HDMI is connected to the onboard graphics. I have tried everything including forcing the PCI-E to the graphics card.

The monitor detects the video card fine when connected directly, but not through the KVM switch.

Specs:
intel 6700k
nvidia 1070
Z170 Pro graming aura motherboard
