Hello I've spent about 2 weeks trying to find and ideal laptop (tight budget) around 600-700 USD
I have a powerful desktop so I do not wish to spend too much.
It's going to be manly for my girlfriend's multitasking and playing games like League of Legends, SIMS 4, Skyrim, Heartstone, maybe something a bit newer on lower details.

These are my 4 alternatives:

Acer Aspire E15 Midnight Black: Price about 590 USD

Intel Core i5 4210M Haswell, 15.6" LED 1366x768 IPS ComfyView Anti Glare
2.6 - 3.2 GHZ
RAM 8GB DDR3L,
NVIDIA GeForce 840M 2GB,
HDD 1TB 5400
6 cell battery

Positive: great specifications
Negative: ACER and no full hd (but 768p should be okay for 15"6 no?

Lenovo idepad Z0 70: 670 USD

Intel Core i5 4210U Haswell, 15.6 "LED 1920x1080 glossy,
1.7 - 2.7 GHZ
4 gigabytes of RAM,
NVIDIA GeForce GT 840m 2GB
1TB HDD 5400
4 cell bettery

Positive: Design, Lenovo, full HD,
Negative: Somewhat weaker CPU, 4GB RAM only, no anti glare display,

ASUS X555LN-XX413H - 631 USD

Intel Core i5 4210U Haswell 1.7 - 2.7 GHZ

15.6" LED 1366x768 Glossy
NVIDIA GeForce 840M 2GB
8GB RAM DDR3
HDD 1000GB,
2 cell battery

Positive: Brand, okay design, good specs
Negative: weakest battery, no full HD

ASUS X555LB 710 USD
Intel Core i5-5200U (2.2GHz, TB až 2.7GHz);
4GB RAM (DDR3); 15.6" HD (1366x768 bodů)
1TB HDD;
grafika NVIDIA GeForce 940M (2GB)
2 cell battery

Positive: Broadwell and Graphics
Negative: Price, battery, no full HD

I have really been struggling with this.

If the first notebook wasn't acer I would go for it right away...
Lenovo has the best design and Full HD
Asus best return policy (in case of claim they return the repair laptop and your money in full as well).

Multitasking is ok but none of them are good enough for playing games. And Asus X is one of the worst model, trust me. Aspire E, Ideapad isn't meant to be a gaming laptop but you still can play some games doesn't need high specs. So either get more money to buy a real gaming laptop (about $900 or above) or you can just give up the gaming and buy a business laptop if you can find a good deal (HP Elitebook, Lenovo Thinkpad, Dell Latitude, Acer TravelMate, ...). Btw, you said you already have a powerful desktop so i think you don't need to buy any other laptop just to play game.
