Hello!

I am looking for a new monitor with the following features:

-27-inch display
- at least 75 Hz refresh rate
-IPS led technology
-VESA wall mount compatibility
-good colour accuracy

I am in a dilemma since I do not know which resolution to pick: 1080p or 1440p. Currently, I am using LG 23MP68VQ (24 inch 1080p, 75hz).
I would use it for occasional gaming, photo editing, simracing, web browsing and content viewing (mostly photos).

1080p:
+ it would be easier to get one with 75hz refresh rate, the resolution would meet my system specs (better performance).
- low pixel density (81 ppi) would not be ideal for photo editing.

1440p:
+higher pixel density (107 ppi) and sharper image
- it would be more difficult to get one with 75hz refresh rate, lower performance (I would probably need to change my graphics card).

I am generally looking for a solid monitor for mixed usage, it does not need to be a gaming monitor. Which resolution can you recommend me for my needs?
Any recommendations for a specific model?
My budget is 400€. I am from Slovenia.

PC specs: AMD Ryzen 5 1600, MSI B350 pc mate, 16gb Corsair vengeance LPX, WD black 2TB, Kingston A400 240gb SSD, MSI GTX 1060 3gb, Corsair RM 550x PSU, Corsair 270r case, Windows 10.

Thank you! I will appreciate your help.

1440p would mean that you go for a beefy card. In fact the 6GB GTX1060 had issues with titles at 1440p.

You forgot to mention your budget and your location as well as your preferred site for purchase. Also list your specs like so:

Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
