Please help me chose a CPU

I don't know which one to buy. I use my PC for heavy threaded apps like 3DS Max, Photoshop, Softimage and video editing.

I don't know which one to buy. The AMD FX 8350 or the Intel 3770K? I don't know which CPU would be best suited.

Straight forward question, guys.

if you has no limit on budget, the best cpu for workstation is 3770k or 3930k

amd is not optimized for performance per clock. it is power hungry and performs behind 3770k in ALL benchmark

Be forewarned: The "help" you are going to get is going to be from Intel fans vs. AMD fans. They both seem to be a fine choice.
