Please help me decide between these two

I want to purchase a monitor in the price range of 200-245 Canadian dollars. While searching for monitors i noticed these two monitors:

The Asus one has tons of reviews on Newegg and i saw two other reviews, one being from this website. But i can't seem to find reviews for the LG monitor. Both of them are 23" and that's the size i am mainly looking for but bigger displays for the same price range would be cool too 😛

Which one of those two would you purchase for gaming, movies, and your typical Office apps. And please don't hesitate to recommend any other ones in that price range

LG generally makes a good monitor/tv, but isn't it out of stock? That kinda makes your decision for you, no?
