please help me fix my bios

i have a acer veriton m4618g and i got a new processor with the correct socket but when i plug it in and get 4 beeps i found this means i need to update my bios but when i go to acer they don't have the version i need. is there any way i can fix this or do i need a new motherboard. PS: its a very old computer

also its a i5 ivy bridge cpu

As far as I know, the Q65 Express chipset (which your computer has) does not support Ivy Bridge CPUs. You have to stick with with 2nd Generation CPUs.

Thanks a found an old motherboard in another pc same except better cpu but worse ram but I have more room to upgrade my processor
