Im pretty sure its the ram and not the slots. Did both of the ram sticks give this many error or was it just one of them. Either way since your running dual channel I would buy a whole new set just to be safe.

Ok all the rams passed individually 1 pass each :( on slot 1

Now what ? The voltage thing?

Here are its spec if someone would kindly guide my how to change

Test for a few passes.

Its looking like one of three things:

1: A "soft" RAM error, where a bit will sometimes get stuck. VERY hard to diagnose properly.

2: A RAM slot failed. Only way to know for sure is to test each slot individually.

3: A voltage problem when running with 4 sticks. Its not unprecidented that a small voltage bump may be needed for stability when using all four DIMMS.

Can't say which at this point. My recommendation is to test every stick for multiple passes of memtest86 [5 should be enough]. If everything passes, then try each slot one at a time, just to rule out a bad DIMM. If that passes, then try a small voltage bump to the RAM and test all four sticks at once.

Annoying I know.

Thanks will get down to it, can i test each slot individually i thought you have to use only slot 1 if your using 1 stick..

wouldn't it just be easier to buy new ram and save your self the aggro ? ddr3 is cheap these days. Its not good practice to mix and match different ram brands anyway, even if you do isolate 1 bad module.

Dont you think it would be easier to change some settings in BIOS rather than going out and spending money to buy some new RAM?

Changed memory to 1600mhz memtest wouldnt start it would come up with SMP boot time out, would restart and it would change back to 1333mhz and it ran without errors for 50 minutes?

I'd try loading up a linux distro and see if you have problems with your hardware still. Or get a genuine Windows. Or download Windows 8 and try that.
From what I've personally learned though trial and error is that the Blue Screen of Death is almost hardware though.

I have tried EVERYTHING

all i have left to try is the voltage bump

Please can someone quickly guide me how ?

RIGHT EVERYONE!

I think my problem has been SOLVED

as memtest came out with no errors for 2 passes so far at 1600mhz (Errors normally come up withing 5 mins)

SOLUTION: I bumped up the DDR Voltage from 1.60 to 1.65 ( As specified in my RAMS spec sheet)

Hope this helps people in the future :D Have fun!
