Hello. I have a big problem. Currently I have an AMD R7 260X with A CX500M Corsair PSU. I want to buy a R9 280X. The two choices are :
1)Sapphire R9 280 Dual-X OC 3GB GDDR5
2)Asus Radeon R9 280 3GB DirectCU II
Which is better in terms of performance/build quality/value for money? Do I need a better PSU? Others have used my PSU (CX500M) with the R9 280X (Sapphire version not the Asus one) but I want to make sure the my PSU is enough for these cards. Also if you have any other recommendation for a better card but with the same budget (250 euros) please tell me. Thanks in advance and please reply soon, this is really important!!!
My PC INFO:
1x WD CB 1TB Hard Drive
1x DVD
CPU A10-5800K
RAM 2X4GB Corsair DDR3 1600Mhz
MOBO GIGABYTE F2A88XM-DS2 FM2+
The card I want to buy : AMD R9 280X
5 fans : 2x120mm with LED one normal 120mm and 2x92mm or 2x 80mm (I'm not sure if they are 92 mm or 80mm)
4-6 USB devices
2xLED strips 60cm

That psu is not very good to begin with, it may be able to power a 280 but it will be very close to that 500watts max i would recommend you get a better psu. The two cards will perform pretty much the same i like sapphire for amd cards they make the reference models so they really know there way around amd cards.

What PSU do you recommend? Is a 600W PSU enough?

Not enough information. Much depends on what CPU, MOBO, and hard drives you have to determine the suitability of any given PSU to power a system. It's more than just a GPU in there, although the GPU does tend to be the biggest power load in the system.

For example, if you're running a 50w i3, with an mini ITX system with a single SSD, it's probably more than sufficient. Meanwhile if you happen to be running an AMD FX9000 series (200w by itself) with a 5 drive RAID array and 5 server 3A fans, well, it would not be enough PSU.

I like the XFX TS 650. Made by seasonic very good high quality psu with a 5 year warranty.
