Any tips for the CPU & GPU or else?

Don't use 2 separate ram kits. Just get one 4 x 8gb kit. Two kits most likely won't work together.

You certainly don't need a 1000W PSU for one gtx970. And only 750W for 2. I gather you already have it though (no price)

I had the 3820. Great overclocking CPU. But I sold it and got a 3930k - more cores for faster video editing.

You know you can get an i7 4790k and mobo for a lot better price? And the i7 4790k will outdo the 4820.

See http://www.anandtech.com/show/8426/the-intel-haswell-e-cpu-review-core-i7-5960x-i7-5930k-i7-5820k-tested/6

and http://www.anandtech.com/show/8426/the-intel-haswell-e-cpu-review-core-i7-5960x-i7-5930k-i7-5820k-tested/5

Then why did you write - "Motherboard: Asus Rampage IV Black Edition EATX LGA2011 Motherboard ($453.00 @ Vuugo) " ?

Is there anything else you got for a different price? Why did you buy the mobo?

and why "CPU: Intel Core i7-4820K 3.7GHz Quad-Core Processor ($329.99 @ Memory Express) ???" ?

I used pcpartmaker.com to create my project. only. I live in Canada so Memory Express is by far the best online seller because they beat all canadians sellers plus you get 10% of the difference but I think it was 25% not long ago.

I'm watching this mobo since the last two years. It was 525$ but I got Lucky and I found one for 250$ after an 50$ rebate in mail. To be honest with you, to me this is a very gorgeous mobo with tons of options. Of course I could pick the Rampage 5 but it is still over an 550-650 range.

I am always buying new things with the best or latest technology. I prefer by far buying the 59XX instead of the 39XX serie's..My two kit of ram are doing fine in my Asus Formula VI you think I could get some problems in Rampage IV?

The only parts missing are a CPU & a GPU. And an Asus Formula VI for sale.....

Finaly I bought one Asus Stix 970 for now.

For my ram if my 4 sticks of ram are working fine in another Asus Mo can I have no problem using them or I'm at heavy risk because it's a 4 slots technology or something else...

Whitch is the average pourcentage that my 4 sticks could works perfecly? Sorry for thee tricky question.
