Please Help me install a HDD HGST Travelstar 7k1000 in an ASUS G73Jh Notebook

Hello, could someone please tell me if it's possible to install a HDD HGST Travelstar 7k1000 (1TB, 7200rpm 32MB cache) on an ASUS G73Jh notebook?
I have this HDD here ready to install, but the sockets doens't seem to fit in the notebook's HDD entrance, it's facing the opposite direction, like if the HDD was meant to be inserted upside-down.
The HDD connects like this, upside-down:

but I don't think it's safe to power on the notebook with the HDD inserted like that.

Ty for your answer, but that's not quite what I was looking for.
What I really want to know is if it's possible, if there's no problem at all, to insert the HD upside-down. As you can see in the video, the HD's have their covers facing up, but the HD I have here, the HGTS 7k100, can only fit if it's inserted with it's cover facing downwards.
So I'm afraid to turn the notebook on, with the HD inserted like that, I don't know if it's supposed to be like this, or if I was cheated and my notebook does not support this HD.
