Hello all, new member and not very savvy at upgrading my pc.

What I am trying to accomplish is play Flight simulator 2020, my first goal is trying to see if I can upgrade before building a whole new system, any help is greatly appreciated.

My current specs:
I7-920@2.67GHZ
6 GB of Ram DDR3 @1066
Asus P6T Deluxe V2
2 X Radeon HD 5800 each running at 1GB Ram.
Windows 10 Home.

I have a great full size cooler master case with great Corsair1000 watts power source and would like to reuse them if possible.

Flight sim 2020 min spec as follows:

The official system requirements list a Core i5-4460 or Ryzen 3 1200 CPU and a GeForce GTX 770 or Radeon RX 570, and recommend a Core i5-8400 or Ryzen 5 1500X and a GTX 970 or RX 590. You'll also need Windows 10 (build 18362 or later), and for a change, even the Microsoft Store version uses DirectX 11.

I am trying to not spend too much upgrading since the only reason upgrading at this point is the newly released flight sim 2020.

thanks in advance for your input.

What screen resolution would you be wanting to play at? What kind of detail setting and frame per second would you be happy with? What is your budget?

FS2020 is a very demanding game in terms of computer hardware. Perhaps check out a review of the it first to get an idea
