Please help me select a graphics card.. I just can't decide.. :(

My PC configuration is:

i7 2600k
8GB DDR3 Corsair vengeance @1600 Mhz
ASUS z68 pro gen3
PSU Corsair TX750W
i use 1080p resolution on a 24" screen...

I need a decent GPU for decent gaming.
My shortlists were:

Mid Ranged:
ZOTAC GeForce GTX 660 AMP! Edition
SAPPHIRE GRAPHICS CARD HD 7870 2GB DDR5 XT WITH BOOST

Lower Mid Ranged:
SAPPHIRE GRAPHICS CARD HD 7850 2GB DDR5 OC
ZOTAC GRAPHICS CARD GTX 650 TI 2GB DDR5 BOOST


I cant spend more than $350..
And in my country the prices for the above are:
7870 XT - $362 ($12 is fine for me)
660 AMP! - $344
7850 OC - $292
650 Ti Boost - $246

I ruled out 660 Ti because the pricing starts from $430 here..
I want to know if it is worth spending that much for 7870 XT...
Is it better than the Zotac 660 AMP?!
I included the lower end models coz they are a lot cheaper and with not much of a performance drop(7850 OC), and because the 650 Ti boost gives good value for money...

I dont know if im going to overclock or not, but it wouldnt do harm to have a
card with better OCing capabilities. Will it be worth the extra $100 or so if I choose the 7870 XT/660 AMP! over the 650 Ti Boost for the performance I will get??

I hope I get help from all of you here... Im really in a fix..

Im gonna have to agree 7870 xt is definitely the way to go here. Reason being is its based on the tahiti architecture. So its essentially a dumbed down 7950.

Get the i5 3570k if your main purpose is gaming. You can save some cash (around $60 in the US).

I wish I could! I already have bought my machine.. just the GPU is left.. I dint get the MSI TF 560Ti 2gb and had ordered it then(last year).. It took too long to ship... I cancelled the order and decided to wait for the 600 series!
I guess Im late again for this series..
A change from college life to corporate life takes a toll on gaming I guess! 😛
I think this gpu will be my last for a long time! I have lots of games waiting to be played and then the current ones too.. This machine should probably be enough to satisfy my gaming needs...
Sadly I have been playing only Dota and Dota 2 in my current machine! Intel HD LOL.

Il probably go with the 7870.. I live in Mumbai, India.. im concerned with the prices.. If I was in the US i wudv got FAR better cards at this price... 🙁
Im going to the market day after tomorrow..
$120 dollars for XT instead of 650 ti.. dats INR 6000.. i just hope its worth it!

I bought it for ~ $400 (yes.. its shit expensive here...)
the price has increased to around $ 435 now.. due to dollar rise........
