Please help me to choose a new monitor

hi i'm new,
i need to change my old monitor and i'm looking for a 24" led ones for continuing my passion for photography. So I need a monitor good to workk with photoshop. I'm an amateur so my budget is low: 350-400$. Some friends suggest me the Dell U2412M but not all reviews i read were positive. Do you think it's ok for my pourposes (photos, internet, not gaming) or at this price there are better choices?

If you don't care about gaming the u2412m isn't the best choice(but it's still not a bad choice!). I might look around for an hp zr24w on sale (they go below $400 sometimes)

I don't think the zr24w is LED. But LEDs only save a bit of energy and turn on faster. Highend ccfl's are better (until you get to very highend!)
