Hello my dear friends, I have a massive problem, I just changed my SSD, HDD, and Windows for my laptop. Now, I installed all my necessities and transferred all my prev data to the new HDD, what happened was had installed this DAMN application named SCP tool kit to get dualshock 3 running on Windows, and because of some damned reason I removed it after that all hell broke lose, my HDD which is healthy with 1 partition, completely went back to the previous HDD's 2 partitions and locked the partition that I had my data in, making it inaccessible.
I ended up extending the HDD partition back to 1, and changed ownership to make it accessible, but guess what? NO DATA.

I ended up completely formatting the damn thing and counting the loss, However, I would like to know, why in the name of Big G himself did this happen at all.

My System:
Windows 11
GTX 1050 TI 4GB
CORE I7 7700 HQ
2 TB SSD & 2TB HDD

I would imagine that a great deal of your current issue resides in W11 on a 7700, which is not supported by an official version of the OS. SCP Toolkit, where called out in various ways for being a bit sketchy is quite unlikely to be the cause of this issue.

IMO, my .02, whatever you wish to call it, put a supported version of OS back on this system and consider looking into proper backups in the future.

edit- also, put OS on the SSD, not the HDD.

Possible Reasons for the Issue:

Partition Table Corruption
File System Errors
Ownership and Permissions
Data Recovery Software Limitations

Recommendations for Future Prevention
Regular Backups
Disk Health Monitoring
Avoid Uninstalling Unknown Applications

Enable System Restore in Windows to create restore points before making significant changes to your system. This can help you revert to a stable state without data loss.
