Question Please help me with laptop RAM issue ?

Hey guys! I recently bought an MSI Sword 17 A11UD 17.3 inch laptop. I purchased some upgrades for it, first being 32gb ram kit because it only had 16gb. Well I went by the crucial ram upgrade list and ordered the Crucial CT2K16G4SFRA32A 32gb kit. It came in and I put it in but the laptop just turns on and black screens forever. So I put in one of the old sticks with one of the new ones and it booted up and showed 24gb. So I turned it off and tried the same old stick, with the other new stick. And it won’t boot. Just black screens. So I guess one of them is DOA.

Is there a better option I should look into or just reorder the same set and hope both come in working? Here is a photo of the label for my laptop and any suggestions on memory kits is appreciated. Here are screenshots of my laptop info, the crucial memory I ordered and the memory that came installed.

One at a time test each new ram stick by itself using the same slot.

I did and one of them doesn’t work at all had to return it. Do you know of any to look into that will work for my laptop

Contact the merchant and have a chat.
You don't want to return one if you bought a kit.
You return the kit.
The crucial ram should work get another kit.

No I returned the whole set, should I just repurchase that same ram kit? It came from Amazon. Maybe I was just unlucky and got a DOA stick

It's your call.
It's not common for ram sticks to be bad but it does happen.
