Please help me with mobo connections!

Hi, I just got a new mobo and cpu, im trying to start the pc but the power button led wont light up and the pc does not start. I think I may be putting the pc power , usb ect. connectors in wrong, any help would be appreciated, thanks.

did you read the letter on the connector it tell you witch one to connect to it on motherboard .

Thanks for that but i have and things arent any clearer, ive done what it says and the pc still wont power upits not the psu cause it was working fine before. Itd be great if someone could tell me where each wire goes.
The mobo is the biostar H61MLV3.

did you read the letter on the connector it tell you witch one to connect to it on motherboard .

there are no letters on the cables , im hoping someone can tell what they're each for and where they go by looking at the number of holes they each have ect,.

Short out the pins with a Screwdriver. If nothing works it might be bust.

All of them not labeled Audio or USB, not that hard to figure out, right? If you're not sure what cables are what just see where they lead in your case, if it leads to the Power Button it's you guessed it probably the wire for the power button. If you're not sure which side is +/- There's a small arrow on the end cable not the pins. If you need more info Google it takes like 5-mins and has been answered more than once.

I shorted out the pins and all the fans started but the monitor says "no signal"

I know where all the connectors go now but when i press the power button nothing happens i have to short it to start it and even then the monitor says "no signal" I dont know whats wrong

I gave up and went back to the old mobo its starts fine now but im having problems with booting the OS.
Warning to all DO NOT BUY BIOSTAR MOTHERBOARDS!

You could have reached that conclusion by Googling Biostar. Try and make informed purchases in the future.
