I just bought a laptop: Lenovo z51, and i want to upgrade the ssd. I was thinking about samsung pro 850 (256GB) but than i saw M.2 ssd and that they are faster. But does my laptop have a M.2 slot?

What's the specific model of your laptop? It would help to know the exact specifications. I highly doubt it can run an M2 drive - and even if it could those things get crazy hot, so it would also require adequate cooling as well.

The reason I ask is because there could be like 100 different configurations of your exact model, so having the specific set of specs will determine whether or not it can support that drive.
