Please help me

I'm thinking about upgrading my PC. It constantly has loading issues, start up time is terrible, and the computer is no good all around. When I try to play 2K16 my GPU constantly crashes,and it's on the lowest possible settings. Why does my computer stink. It's custom built, thought it would be decent, and just sucks. I need help making my computer be able to play games comfortably. The goal is to play Skyrim max graphics at over 60 fps

640 watt power supply
AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series GPU
Intel Core i7-4770K CPU
16 gb of ram

Upgrade to an nVidia 970 or better.

Which power supply and RAM do you have? I'd almost suggest you do some debugging on the machine before you buy the graphics card. Remove one stick of RAM and see if the crashing goes away. If it doesn't remove another and put the first one back. Do this for each piece of memory you have.

Completely uninstall all video drivers for the Radeon and reinstall.

Then tell us what you figured out.
