please i dont know what i did but all i hear is static in my headset, what is this a sign of? bad motherboard? I am trying to configure hd realtek but i messed it up more and now all i hear is static

did you click somewhere in the settings to generate white noise?

you could uninstall the driver and software and start over

Uninstall the same audio driver i installed when i got my MOBO? from the manufacturer site?

Sounds like a bad Driver, Remove old Drivers and install the new one.

You Could remove restart and do a windows update and it should see that it is missing and download the new one or go to the motherboards website and download the new Driver yourself but make sure you do not just install it over the old Driver also are you using any other Sound Driver as that can give you this Problem as in the Video Card Sound Driver, What did you last update that is a easy way to find the problem.

all i did was get a new motherboard, download the asus motherboard audio drivers chipset, etc..and download version 362.00 nvidia graphics driver.

i just hoped in ts and my boy said my mic is very static but he can hear me

oh i uninstalled realtek restarting now
