Please Help Me

Hey guys,

I built my computer for the first time and im trying to install windows 7 onto it. I have an ssd drive and a regular hard drive. I tried to install windows 7 onto the ssd and i get an error message where it says windows cannot install the required files. What could be the issue?

Try removing the HDD. Also check the disk to make sure it isn't scratched. You should be able to find the ISO on Microsoft's website.

tried this but didnt work. Will appreciate any other help

this is the error code i get 0x80070017

That code indicates a CRC error. Either the DVD, the DVD drive, or both are faulty.

using a dvd drive. Tried a different dvd drive and it didnt work. i also read to try switching the ram around and see if it works, still not working. At this point i think the issue can be the cd but it worked on another computer so not really sure what the issue is. I tried copying windows into ssd or hard drive and nothing works

just out of curiosity could this be a problem with the motherboard? I have a msi 970 gaming motherboard by the way. Any help much appreciated
