I understand, but if your monitor is only 1080p, why do you spend on gtx 1080 while have the same experience with a gtx 1060 with much lower price? When you decide to have a 4k monitor, gtx 1080 price may have dropped by a lot and some 2xxx series gtx comes out, how will you feel? If you get 1060 today and sell it, get a gtx 1080 in the future, you may actually spend much less than today. 1080 price is largely inflated due to mining. I am just telling you GPU, monitor and CPU are better to be consistent :) However, if you plan to spend on a 4k monitor soon, get 1080 now is reasonable :) Let me know, if you wan to keep 1080, I can find you something more cost-effective. With the build you have in mind, you will need a good cpu cooler.
