What would be best gpu for a amd fx 9800p or does the gpu really matter i didn't really think it did matter, but if it does please tell me the best one.

The 9800p is a laptop CPU, so in general the rule of thumb is you can't upgrade it. If it is a desktop can you include other details such as power supply, case, and ram?

I was going to have an external gpu on my laptop so when I do some light gaming on it i'll have a better fps
